About SpeedCat
SpeedCat Catamarans is a unique new brand of Power Catamaran, designed and manufactured by Amanzi Marine Ltd, in Thailand.
Current 2012 models exist of ‘Sport-Fisher Range ’ 28 feet (7.7m) and 32 feet (9.7m)
This range caters exclusively for the offshore fisherman. The boats is equipped with a Center Console that host a toilet inside. The console has a large instrument panel for engine controls and fish finder/chart plotters and VHF Radio.
The T Top provides lots of shade and host space for the Radio CD player and Speakers
In the gunnels you will find rod holders and in the deck sole there is large fish boxes to store the days catch.
The stern of the boat has a live well as well as a basin and rubbish bin
The self bailing cockpit hosts ample space behind the helm seat for fishing.
The boats host several grab handles and ample drink holders.
The bulges has large access hatches to service the build in bulge pumps.
Aluminum fuel tanks is build in under the cabin sole and has large accesses hatches
Rod holders is build into the T top and Gunnels
Below the Helm seat is storage for a ice box
The ‘Grand-Touring’ is the Cabin Versions, there is two models . the 770 GTand the 970 GT
The 770 GT has a maple finish Cabin with en-suite toilet compartment.
In the Cockpit is seating for 6 people with large L Shape stern seats.
There is a small galley with wash basin and storage below.
A fridge is situated in the helm seat.
The boat has a large T Top that can be closed of by canvas so the whole cockpit can for another overnight space.
The 970 GT is our Flagship. This boat has a large private cabin and a full size head with Toilet basin and Shower.
The Steering position is central in the saloon to provide the best over all visibility in all weather. The saloon has a large dining room table and a separate lounge area with a fridge and small basin and storage for glasses and drinks for entertaining.
Behind the helm seat is space for a flat Screen TV with DVD player .
The Saloon roof has a large glass sliding roof with Solar Cells laminated into the glass. Once the roof is open it gives a open air ambiance in the Saloon.
Access to the Cockpit is through a large sliding door , once open the saloon and cockpit becomes one big living space.
The cockpit host a large l shape seat that also forms a sun bed. There is a galley unit with a BBQ, Hob and Ice box with storage
The boat has a large swimming platform that host the two outboard motors.
Accesses to the large front deck is through the hatch in the Main Cabin.
The 970 GT is a very well styled 32ft Power Catamaran that will turn heads where ever it goes.
The 970 DC is a new model now in production. This boat is the perfect excursion boat with easting for 12 people. It has a full head with shower, basin and Toilet. There is also a galley and BBQ ideal for entertaining a day out to the Islands.
The bow seat has storage for windsurfers, kayaks’, and surf boards. The bow seat also forms a very large sun bed for 4 to 6 people.
The boat has a very large T Top with solar glass panel to keep the batteries toped up during the day out.
The bow section of the boat can be covered by fold down Bimini .

Every SpeedCat Catamaran is carefully produced using the latest Composites Technology, with Decks and Hulls manufactured using an environmentally-friendly closed-molding technique called “Vacuum Infusion”. This process results in extraordinarily lightweight, but incredibly stiff, structures – which in turn gives enhanced top speeds, much improved fuel efficiency and increased range capabilities.
All SpeedCat Catamarans are Hydrofoil-assisted to provide a superior ’soft’ ride, with much improved safety and handling in rough seas – yet still allow ‘beaching’ and easy trailer transportation. The combination of strict QC and premium quality materials (most imported from specialist companies abroad) – together with staff training by technology experts and quality craftsmanship ensures that .every SpeedCat will meet, or surpass, our rigorous standards.
